BIOGRAPHY:

Beverly Basila, H.H.C., H.L.C., N.W.E., C.G.P. is a Certified Holistic Wellness Consultant who has been trained and certified on the East and West Coast and is a member of eleven organizations. She resides in the Miami/ Coral Gables section of South Florida where she runs her business as an Independent Consultant.

Beverly is a Certified Holistic Lifestyle Coach (Level 3) through the C.H.E.K Institute under the direct guidance & training of Paul Chek, H.H.P., N.M.T. and she is a Certified Wellness Educator through Liberation Wellness facilitated by Kevin Brown, C.P.T., N.C. Beverly is also a Certified L.E.A.N. Health Coach through the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute under the training of Dr. William Sears, M.D. and she is a Certified Enzyme Expert through Enzymedica facilitated by the Enzymedica Learning Center.

Beverly is a Certified Gluten Practitioner with training on Gluten Sensitivity and Celiac Disease facilitated by Dr. Thomas O' Bryan, D.C., C.C.N., D.A.C.B.N. and she is a Certified GAPS Practitioner under the direct guidance & training of Dr. Natasha Campbell- McBride, M.D. who is the author of the books titled "Gut & Psychology Syndrome" and "Put Your Heart In Your Mouth". Beverly is enrolled in the Gluten Free Society's Healthcare Provider Certification Program with training facilitated by Dr. Peter M. Osborne, D.C. and will be receiving a Tier 1 and Tier 2 certification upon completion of all exams.

Beverly is currently lecturing and is available upon request for group venues. She has been invited to be interviewed on radio and video, and to speak on her personal experiences as a Holistic Wellness Consultant at various conferences and health organizations. Beverly was invited to participate as a guest speaker at a lecture with Dr. Albert Zbik, Psy.D. (Assistant Chief of Psychology at Baptist and South Miami Hospitals) which was presented by the two of them at Baptist Hospital. Beverly was also invited to participate as a guest speaker at a lecture with Dr. Anne Ouellette, M.D. and Penny Roberts at an Arbonne Healthy Living Presentation held at Dr. Ouellette's Coral Gables office location. Beverly has been a guest speaker at PATH (Positive Alternative Therapies in Healthcare) and at Pranoga Studio as well. She enjoys promoting her business at health fairs (with past appearances at The Mandarin Oriental Hotel and The Vitamin Shoppe) and is accessible by request for this as well.

Beverly has been interviewed by award- winning talk show host and celebrity interviewer Raven Blair Davis (former CBS/ CNN Radio Show Host) on the Women Power Radio Show. “Amazing Women of Power Talk 24.7 Positive Programming Radio Network" is presently broadcasting shows over a worldwide platform and Beverly has been featured on their website and in their newsletter. Beverly has also been interviewed by producer, actress, and publisher, Taaffe O' Connell, for a magazine article that is due to be published in the next issue of Power Agent Magazine. Taaffe O' Connell is the Owner and Director of Canoco Publishing which won the 2011 Los Angeles Award in the Magazine Publishers Category by the U.S. Commerce Association (USCA).

Beverly's life story and holistic wellness consulting business will be featured in the book titled "Careers From The Kitchen Table National Home Business Directory (3rd Edition). Other people who have been featured in past editions of this book include Jack Canfield, Ali Brown, Wally Amos, Brian Tracy, and Dr. Joe Vitale. Beverly has been invited to be interviewed by Kevin Brown, C.P.T. (author of The Liberation Diet) on his "Liberation Wellness Hour Radio Show" and has also been invited by Dr. David Ajibade, M.B.B.S. (M.D.) M.M.G.T. to do a webinar series for Building Strength Webinars.

Beverly is in the process of writing a book titled "From Sickness To Success - - God's Way" and hopes that her story will help others as she shares how she went from decades of sickness and searching into a transition of healing and success with God at the forefront of her journey. Beverly is enrolled in a radio broadcasting course with Raven Blair Davis and will be hosting her own radio show which is scheduled to air on "The Amazing Women of Power Positive Programming Network". She has also attended a series of media and marketing courses facilitated by Susan Levin and Jean- Noel Bassior (Industry Experts and Co- Owners of Speaker Services) in order to broaden her platform for large- scale speaking engagements. Beverly is grateful that God has provided these assorted venues so that she can share the message of healing and hope to all who are in need of hearing it.

Beverly is a member of Gluten Free South Florida (GFSF), Celiac Disease Foundation (CDF), Weston A. Price Foundation (WAPF), Positive Alternative Therapies In Healthcare (PATH), Life Extension Foundation (LEF), MindfulCITY Commerce Council (MCC), The Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM), and The Holistic Chamber of Commerce (HCC).

Beverly attends several meetings every month and enjoys being an active member of many of these stellar organizations. She highly recommends all of them as she feels each one stands for excellence. Every one of these organizations are striving to educate and assist the public in order to make this world a healthier and happier place to live in, and their missions are for the good of all mankind. Beverly is a member of The American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC), The International Christian Coaching Association (ICCA), and The North American Association of Christians in Social Work (NACSW).

Beverly has earned certificates from The American Association of Christian Counselors in the courses titled "Addiction & Recovery", "Caring For People God's Way", and "Caring For People God's Way II (Breaking Free)". She is in the midst of studying for her certificates in the courses titled "Caring For Kids God's Way", "Caring For Teens God's Way", and "Treating Sexual Addiction". Beverly is also enrolled in two courses in the Geneva Series titled "Panic Disorders: A Clinical Update" and "Effective Therapy for Personality Disorders". Beverly has earned her Diploma in Biblical Counseling from The American Association of Christian Counselors and is soon to receive her Advanced Diploma as well.

Beverly is enrolled in the Professional Life Coaching Program through The International Christian Coaching Association and is in the midst of earning her certificates in the courses titled "Life Coaching 101" and "Life Coaching 102", as well as in the courses titled "Marriage Coaching" and "Stress Management" Coaching.

Beverly keeps up- to- date with her continuing education by participating in monthly training webinars sponsored by The American Association of Christian Counselors and The International Christian Coaching Association. She also participates in several webinar presentations throughout the year sponsored by The North American Association of Christians in Social Work. Beverly attended a Natural Family Planning course through the Couple to Couple League (CCL); "A Day of Reflection & Hope for Women" at The MorningStar Renewal Center; and several of the Magnificat Prayer Luncheons and Back- On- Track Meetings.

Beverly is committed to being a life- long learner in order to enrich and enhance her own life, as well as the lives of others. Beverly attends many lectures, webinars, seminars, and teleconference call sessions each month to stay current on the latest holistic health information in order to best serve her clients. She also engages in seeking out other professional colleagues in various health fields in order to refer her clients for additional healing services when needed.

Beverly has received several certificates for classes and webinar courses in the "Kalish Method Clinical Training Series" conducted by Dr. Daniel Kalish, D.C. and she participates in monthly webinars from The National Foundation for Celiac Awareness (NFCA) which are facilitated by various experts in the health field. She has attended multiple series of professional online training seminars from The Renfrew Center Foundation for Eating Disorders, as well as she attended an onsite professional educational course at the Coconut Creek, Florida location. Beverly attends many of the "Community Lectures" at Mercy Hospital and many of the "Parenting Series Lectures" at Baptist Hospital throughout the year as well.
